ThinkPad L520
The ThinkPad L520 was introduced to the public in late March of 2011. This laptop is part of a new generation of systems to feature Intel's 2nd generation Core Series processors. These Sandy Bridge processors feature faster computing performance, better graphics and more efficient battery management over the previous generation of Arrandale processors. Model L520 specifically is a business-class notebook that is ideal for the mainstream professional user. The laptop is optimized with a good balance of performance, communication, and multimedia options. It uses a 15.6" display and has a starting weight of 5.67 lbs. Similar to the ThinkPad L420 which uses a 14" display, the configuration for the ThinkPad L520 is customizable. There are a handful of ThinkPad L520 laptop models. Each has a unique configuration that allows for further customization. Customization options usually focus on the areas of the operating system, memory, and hard drive options. |
